- Profile and preference information such as food preferences, allergens, and dietary choices.
- User-generated content including saved recipes, grocery lists, pantry items, and cooked meal history.
- Device and usage information including device type, session data, feature usage, and error logs.
How We Use Your Information
We use your data to manage your account, store pantry and recipe information, offer personalized suggestions, analyze usage trends, provide support, and send important service notices.
Analytics
We use third-party analytics platforms, including Mixpanel, to understand how people use PantryPal. We do not use analytics data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
Data Security
We use safeguards including encrypted passwords, HTTPS/TLS, access controls, audits, and backup systems to protect personal data.
Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or export of your data by emailing marcel@pantrypal.com.au. We will respond within 30 days.
Recipe Recommendations & Dietary Safety
PantryPal provides recipe recommendations based on user-provided information, but users remain responsible for verifying ingredient safety, allergen information, expiry dates, food preparation, and medical dietary advice.
No Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information or share it with third parties for advertising. Disclosure only occurs where required by law or needed to protect our rights, users, or service integrity.
